My name is James Lee Ford and I’m from Atlanta, Georgia. I go by James or James Lee people call me both, and I really don’t care. While I personally prefer the country or the beach or the mountains, I’m used to living in a big city with a lot of traffic, and Tuscaloosa is quite a change. I went to a private school in the not so notorious college park, which now actually is starting to look like inner city suburbs, and I grew up in Buckhead.
I went to a pretty big high school, about three thousand students, and played football and lacrosse. Though I tried to play the hardass, jock role in school, I am not embarrassed to say that I also sang in the chorus. Our chorus group travelled to Italy and France the summer on a two week trip to perform, and while I dreaded the trip the entire year I have to say now that it was probably the best trip I’ve ever been on. To my surprise I actually loved Europe. I have an older brother who actually lives in Toulouse, France, and I always thought that was just weird until I travelled there. Now I can kind of understand. I also have a younger sister who is planning on coming to Alabama next year. I also am a pretty avid outdoorsman. I enjoy backpacking, climbing, and have had a little experience in kayaking and rafting.
Ok so that’s kind of who I am and where I’m from. Here in Tuscaloosa I am playing lacrosse and trying out rugby. Beside that pretty much the only other thing to do down her is party and go to football games which works fine for me.

I'm from more of a city too, and certainly coming here was a big, big change. Did you come here specifically for lacrosse? That's a very underrated sport--rugby too, at least in the US. Are you going to watch the world cup? I'm rooting for New Zealand.
