My name is Meredith Streppa. I am a freshman here at Alabama, and so far I love every minute. I am from Roswell, Ga. It is about thirty minutes north of Atlanta. I was born in Detroit, Michigan, but when I was about eight, I moved to Georgia. Recently, I pledged the sorority Delta Delta Delta. That, along with school, has taken up so much of my time. Here are some things about me: I love surprises, and Gerber daisies are my favorite flower. I love snow skiing, snowball fights, etc. My family means a lot to me so I love to spend time with them. I have an older brother who is 21 and an older sister who is 25. I have a very tough time making decisions. I believe it is because I am the youngest in my family, so in my younger years, my family made all the decisions for me. I believe that laughter is the best medicine, and shopping is a close second. I have a weakness for homemade Italian food. Not homemade at Olive Garden, but homemade at my house. I am half Italian, so my family loves to make Gnocchi and all sorts of different dishes. Sports play a huge part in my life. I’ve been playing soccer since I was about four, and I love to watch football, baseball, basketball, any sport really. Along with Alabama, I love Notre Dame and everything about it. I believe that the most beautiful thing in this world is a sunset. They reveal numerous colors that people have never seen before. I also love photography. I love to take pictures of all sorts of things. I have a hard time trusting people, so someone really has to prove it to me. I absolutely love to travel. Recently, I went skiing over in Austria. The view from the top of those mountains is impossible to put into words. I have also been paragliding off of the Swiss Alps. That is an experience that I would love to do over and over again. I have been all over this world, and I am planning on studying abroad in the near future. I am very excited about beginning this new chapter in my life with new friends, lessons, teachers, classes, and so much more.

Hey Meredith...
You sound like you have a lot going for you. I love gnocchi! I made some over the summer. They're a big pain to make but definitely worth it. Where did you go skiiing in Austria? I've been there, but it was while I was backpacking around, and I went and stayed at a little hostel up in the mountains just to relax. The thing I remember most is how blue the water was. I'd never seen anything like that.
